FA:  Formula cars raced in 1980 or earlieron slicks and/or wings. FV, F5000, Indy, F-Libre and F-1 (post-1960) on any tires. Must meet the regulations for some SCCA or FIA class run in 1980 or earlier. FA  is not a catch-all for non-conforming cars. Period bodywork must be used.

FB:   FB, FSV, F2, F-1 cars to 1960. Treaded tires required and no wings. 1972 cutoff. No 4-valve engines.

FC:  FC, F3, F2, mid-engined F-Jr.  1100 cc and under. 1972 cutoff. No wings or 4-valve engines. Treaded tires.

FF1:  FF to 1972. 1972 or earlier FF or Monoposto regs.The following "spec tires" are required:

Monoposto Racing Historic Formula Fords will use only the following:

Front:            Dunlop 135/545-13         CR82   9092   Formula Ford

Rear:             Dunlop 165/580-13         CR82   9092   Formula Ford

        Standard 9092 compound only (476 not allowed). Additional grooving or hand-cutting is not allowed. Rain tires are not allowed. Steel wheels required.  Sample cars:Merlyn Mk.20, Titan Mk.6

FF2:  Formula Fords from 1973-1980. Slicks and mags OK. Must meet SCCA regs for 1980 or earlier. Earlier FF’s may choose to run this class as well. Lola T-340, Merlyn Mk.029
